Recognizing God's Purpose

Today's Scripture:
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Scripture:
In moments when life feels uncertain, overwhelming, or when we face new challenges, God's command to Joshua is a powerful reminder to us as well. Joshua was stepping into Moses' shoes, leading an entire nation into a promised land filled with unknowns. Yet God didn't just send him out with a task; He sent him with His presence and a promise.
We often face times where we feel like we're standing at the edge of a new journey, unsure of what the future holds. Maybe it's a job change, a relationship challenge, or navigating family life. God’s message to Joshua is also His message to us: be strong, be courageous, and trust that He is with you, no matter what you face. Our courage doesn't come from our own strength, but from knowing that God walks every step with us.
Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You for reminding me that I am not alone in the challenges I face. Help me to be strong and courageous, knowing that Your presence is with me wherever I go. When fear and uncertainty creep in, let me trust in Your promises and walk boldly in faith. Guide my steps today, and give me peace as I lean on Your strength. Amen.
