Recognizing God's Purpose

Today's Word "So Joseph recognized his brothers, but they did not recognize him. Then Joseph remembered the dreams which he had dreamed about them, and said to them, 'You are spies! You have come to see the nakedness of the land!'" — Genesis 42:8-9 (NKJV) Thoughts on Today's Word  Joseph’s journey from being betrayed by his brothers to becoming a ruler in Egypt was filled with hardship, yet God’s purpose was being fulfilled. Finding Peace in His Presence

Today's Word:

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

Thoughts on Today's Word:

Life can often feel overwhelming, leaving us feeling weighed down by challenges, responsibilities, and anxieties. In moments like these, Jesus invites us to come to Him. He knows our struggles and sees the burdens we carry, and He longs to give us rest. This isn’t merely physical rest, but a deep, soul-refreshing peace that only He can provide. When we bring our burdens to Jesus, we find a friend, a healer, and a source of strength. He encourages us to release our worries, trusting that He will sustain us. Today, let’s respond to His invitation and rest in His presence, knowing that we don’t have to carry our burdens alone.

Prayer of the Day

Lord Jesus, thank You for inviting me to come to You with all my worries and burdens. Help me to release every weight that I’ve been carrying, and grant me the rest and peace that only You can give. Teach me to trust in Your strength, and remind me that I am never alone. In Your precious name, Amen.
