You have come to see the nakedness of the land!'" — Genesis 42:8-9 (NKJV) Thoughts on Today's Word  Joseph’s journey from being betrayed by his brothers to becoming a ruler in Egypt was filled with hardship, yet God’s purpose was being fulfilled. When Joseph saw his brothers, he remembered the dreams God had given him years earlier. At that moment, he realized that everything—his suffering, separation, and rise to power—was all part of God's divine plan. Often, we go through trials without understanding why. Like Joseph, we may feel forgotten or unfairly treated. But in time, God’s purpose is revealed. What once seemed like pain can become a stepping stone to a greater calling. Holding Firm to Our Faith

Today's Word:

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful." - Hebrews 10:23

Thoughts on Today's Word:

In life, we face uncertainties, struggles, and trials that can shake our confidence in God’s promises. But this verse in Hebrews reminds us to hold on firmly to the hope we profess because our faith is not in our own strength but in the faithfulness of God. He is steadfast and true to His word. Our circumstances may change, but God's character never does. When doubts creep in, we need to remind ourselves of the unfailing promises of God and cling to the hope that is rooted in His faithfulness.

What are the situations today that are causing you to waver in your faith? Lay them before God, knowing that He sees, He cares, and He is working things out for your good. As you hold on to Him, let His peace and assurance fill your heart, knowing that He will see you through.

Prayer of the day:

Dear Lord, thank You for being faithful and unchanging. Help me to hold firmly to the hope I have in You, even when I face difficult circumstances. Strengthen my faith and remind me daily of Your promises. May I trust in Your perfect timing and unfailing love. Guide me today, that my life may reflect the hope and confidence I have in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Though Jacob faced mistreatment and injustice, God saw his struggles and defended him. Sometimes in life, we feel unseen and unappreciated, especially when our hard work goes unnoticed. But just like God saw Jacob's hardships, He sees yours too. God is not indifferent to your pain.
