Recognizing God's Purpose

Today's Word "So Joseph recognized his brothers, but they did not recognize him. Then Joseph remembered the dreams which he had dreamed about them, and said to them, 'You are spies! You have come to see the nakedness of the land!'" — Genesis 42:8-9 (NKJV) Thoughts on Today's Word  Joseph’s journey from being betrayed by his brothers to becoming a ruler in Egypt was filled with hardship, yet God’s purpose was being fulfilled. When Joseph saw his brothers, he remembered the dreams God had given him years earlier. At that moment, he realized that everything—his suffering, separation, and rise to power—was all part of God's divine plan. Often, we go through trials without understanding why. Trusting God's Provision

Today's Word:

"The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still." — Exodus 14:14 (NIV)

Thoughts on Today's Word:

In this passage, the Israelites found themselves trapped between the Red Sea and the Egyptian army. Fear crept into their hearts as they faced what seemed like an impossible situation. But in their moment of distress, God reminded them to be still and trust Him.

Often, we feel overwhelmed by challenges and uncertainties. We try to solve things in our own strength, but God calls us to rest in His promises and trust His provision. When we surrender our battles to Him, we give room for His power to be displayed in our lives. Just like He parted the Red Sea for the Israelites, He can make a way for us too.

Prayer of the Day:

Dear Lord, thank You for reminding me to be still and trust You in the midst of my challenges. Help me not to rely on my own strength but to rest in Your provision and timing. Just as You fought for the Israelites, I believe You will fight for me too. Give me peace and patience as I wait for Your deliverance. In Jesus' name, Amen.
