You have come to see the nakedness of the land!'" — Genesis 42:8-9 (NKJV) Thoughts on Today's Word  Joseph’s journey from being betrayed by his brothers to becoming a ruler in Egypt was filled with hardship, yet God’s purpose was being fulfilled. When Joseph saw his brothers, he remembered the dreams God had given him years earlier. At that moment, he realized that everything—his suffering, separation, and rise to power—was all part of God's divine plan. Often, we go through trials without understanding why. Like Joseph, we may feel forgotten or unfairly treated. But in time, God’s purpose is revealed. What once seemed like pain can become a stepping stone to a greater calling. God’s Redeeming Plan

Today's Word:

“The women said to Naomi: ‘Praise be to the Lord, who this day has not left you without a guardian-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel!’” – Ruth 4:14

Thoughts on Today's Word:

This verse marks a moment of restoration in Naomi’s life. After experiencing deep loss and bitterness, God’s providence brought Boaz into the picture as a guardian-redeemer. Through Boaz’s marriage to Ruth, Naomi’s family line was redeemed, and this redemption pointed to the coming of Jesus, the ultimate Redeemer.

God’s redeeming plan is evident even in our moments of pain and loss. Just as He worked behind the scenes in Naomi and Ruth’s lives, He is at work in ours, turning sorrow into joy and restoring what was broken. Trust that God’s plans for you are good, and He can bring beauty out of the ashes in His perfect timing.

Prayer of the Day:

Dear Lord, Thank You for being my Redeemer, for bringing hope and restoration even in the darkest times. Help me to trust Your plans and timing, knowing that You are always working for my good. Fill my heart with praise as I see Your faithfulness unfold in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Though Jacob faced mistreatment and injustice, God saw his struggles and defended him. Sometimes in life, we feel unseen and unappreciated, especially when our hard work goes unnoticed. But just like God saw Jacob's hardships, He sees yours too. God is not indifferent to your pain.
