Today's Word "So Joseph recognized his brothers, but they did not recognize him. Then Joseph remembered the dreams which he had dreamed about them, and said to them, 'You are spies! You have come to see the nakedness of the land!'" — Genesis 42:8-9 (NKJV) Thoughts on Today's Word  Joseph’s journey from being betrayed by his brothers to becoming a ruler in Egypt was filled with hardship, yet God’s purpose was being fulfilled. When Joseph saw his brothers, he remembered the dreams God had given him years earlier. At that moment, he realized that everything—his suffering, separation, and rise to power—was all part of God's divine plan. Often, we go through trials without understanding why. Strength for the Journey

Today's Word:

“The angel of the Lord came back a second time and touched him and said, ‘Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you.’” – 1 Kings 19:7

Thoughts on Today's Word:

Elijah, a prophet of God, found himself exhausted, discouraged, and ready to give up after facing opposition and danger. But God, in His tender mercy, sent an angel to provide sustenance and strength for Elijah’s journey ahead.

This story reminds us that God sees us in our weariness and meets us with exactly what we need. Whether it’s physical rest, spiritual renewal, or emotional healing, He equips us for the journey. Life’s challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming, but we are never alone. God sustains us through His presence, His Word, and His provision. Trust Him to give you the strength to continue.

Prayer of the Day:

Dear Lord, Thank You for seeing me in my moments of weakness and providing the strength I need to keep going. Help me to rely on You and not my own abilities. Refresh my spirit and renew my courage to face each day with faith, knowing You are with me every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflection:

Are you feeling weary or overwhelmed by life’s demands? Take a moment to rest in God’s presence and ask Him for the strength you need. Reflect on how He has sustained you in the past and trust Him to carry you through the challenges ahead.
