Recognizing God's Purpose

Today's Word:
"Now the Lord had said to Moses in Midian, 'Go back to Egypt, for all those who wanted to kill you are dead.'" — Exodus 4:19 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Word:
When God called Moses to return to Egypt, He assured him that the threats to his life had been removed. Moses had fled Egypt years earlier, carrying fear and failure in his heart. Now, with God’s assurance, he could return confidently to fulfill the mission of leading the Israelites out of bondage.
This verse reminds us that God goes before us, removing obstacles and fears that may hinder us from fulfilling His calling. Sometimes, we hold back because of past failures, guilt, or fear of opposition. But God’s promise is that He will pave the way for us. When we trust Him, we can step into our purpose boldly, knowing He has already cleared the path.
Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You for going before me and removing the fears and obstacles that hold me back. Help me to trust in Your timing and guidance as I step into the plans You have for me. Give me the courage to leave the past behind and move forward in faith, knowing You are with me every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Reflection:
What fears or past failures are holding you back from pursuing God’s call in your life? How can you trust His promise to remove those obstacles and walk forward with confidence?
