Today's Word "So Joseph recognized his brothers, but they did not recognize him. Then Joseph remembered the dreams which he had dreamed about them, and said to them, 'You are spies! You have come to see the nakedness of the land!'" — Genesis 42:8-9 (NKJV) Thoughts on Today's Word  Joseph’s journey from being betrayed by his brothers to becoming a ruler in Egypt was filled with hardship, yet God’s purpose was being fulfilled. When Joseph saw his brothers, he remembered the dreams God had given him years earlier. At that moment, he realized that everything—his suffering, separation, and rise to power—was all part of God's divine plan. Often, we go through trials without understanding why. Like Joseph, we may feel forgotten or unfairly treated. But in time, God’s purpose is revealed. What once seemed like pain can become a stepping stone to a greater calling. Our Provider and Sustainer

Today's Word:

"The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time." – Psalm 145:15

Thoughts on Today's Word:

This verse beautifully illustrates God’s care and provision for all His creation. Every living being depends on Him, and He faithfully supplies what is needed at the right time. Whether it’s physical, emotional, or spiritual nourishment, God knows our needs and provides according to His perfect timing.

Often, we grow impatient or anxious about our needs, forgetting that God is both aware and able to provide. This verse reminds us to trust Him as our ultimate source of provision. He cares for even the smallest creatures, so how much more does He care for us, His beloved children?

As you meditate on this, let it encourage you to wait on God with faith, knowing that His timing is always perfect and His supply is never-ending.

Prayer of the Day:

Loving Father, thank You for being my provider and sustainer. I trust You to meet my needs in Your perfect timing. Help me to look to You with faith and patience, knowing that You care deeply for me. Strengthen my heart to rely on You instead of leaning on my own understanding.

Thank You for Your faithfulness, Lord, and for always giving what I need to sustain me each day. May I live in gratitude and confidence, knowing that You are always near. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection:

What areas of your life do you need to surrender to God’s timing and provision? Take a moment to thank Him for the ways He has already provided for you and trust Him to supply what you need in the future. Let this trust deepen your relationship with Him.
