Recognizing God's Purpose

Today's Word:
"To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted." — Titus 1:15 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Word:
Our perception of the world is deeply influenced by the condition of our hearts. When our hearts are pure—surrendered to God and aligned with His truth—we see life through His lens of grace and goodness. However, when our hearts are clouded by sin, doubt, or unbelief, even the purest things can seem tainted.
Purity isn’t just about outward actions; it starts from within. Jesus taught that it is not what goes into a person that defiles them, but what comes from the heart (Mark 7:15). A heart transformed by Christ allows us to walk in faith, see the best in others, and live in a way that honors God. Today, let’s ask God to purify our hearts so that we may live with integrity, love, and faithfulness.
Prayer of the Day:
Heavenly Father, cleanse my heart and mind so that I may see life through Your eyes. Remove any thoughts or attitudes that corrupt my spirit and lead me away from You. Help me to walk in purity, faith, and love, so that my actions reflect Your goodness. May my life be a testimony of Your transforming power. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Reflection:
Are there areas in your life where your perspective has been clouded by negativity or doubt? Ask God to renew your mind and give you a pure heart, so you can see His hand at work in every situation.
